I will dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
