Despite entering their maiden European adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without key figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a comfortable win that all but secures them a spot in the Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be enough to secure direct passage to the last 16, especially after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This match provided a chance for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a well-taken finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a another, finding the net for the second consecutive succession.

The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
